Ingress & Egress

This program is to help vehicles to exit in an evacuation situation and allow emergency vehicles to get into an active fire by clearing roadside brush and debris.  The SLFSC has secured funds for this project.

  1. This project will entail community involvement.
    • Join us at our SLFSC meeting to present your project, contact us through email at [email protected], or submit the contact form below.
  1. To start your project, we will need the following:
    • Pay the SLFSC annual fee of $30.00 (see annual membership page to complete).
    • Schedule an appointment at your project site with the SLFSC.
    • A community member will need to obtain a right of entry for each landowner within the project (download the form here).
    • We will need a bid for the project and if you don’t have someone to do the work, we can provide recommendations. 
    • Each project needs to have before and after photos to be funded from our grant.
